Both suck.

His power is unpredictable and unverifiable to anyone other than himself. 

It is the world's dumbest superpower and it is certainly not worth keeping.

That is, until his power, bolstered by dumb luck and great timing, results in him saving his tormentor (and crush) from certain death.

Now, the prospect of finding love by keeping a watchful eye on star athlete, Juice Williams, has him holding onto it awhile longer.
