A necklace is given to every child at birth, it's half of a unique shape, their soul mate has the other half and when they're ready then can look for them. Marisa was a druggie sex addict with parents who didn't care about her, who or what she did. Clarissa was a girl from the other side of town with parents who spoiled her and hoped she would find that perfect guy but when these two girls meet the world as they know it gets rocked and filled with the same smoke as their lungs.
