This is a story about all of the kids in MHA that I believe deserved better as kids. So far this includes Shigaraki, Dabi (and all the Todorokis), Toga, Shinsou, and Bakugou.
More details are available in the first chapter, "Prologue," which explains more about the reader that are concrete and important to the storyline, and also information about the kids' backstories and general trigger warnings for the entire story.
The reader is the legal parent to everyone, is afab but mostly gender neutral. I'm kinda just writing this because it's giving me so much serotonin :) I hope someone else likes this as much as I do :D

Need You (ShinDeku)
All Midoriya wanted was to visit his mother for the weekend. Instead he's kidnapped by one of the most prominent villain groups in Japan, and they go by the name League of Villains. Back at UA, Shinso is finally going on his first hero mission as an apprentice to the one and only pro hero Eraserhead. There's just one problem. His first mission is to rescue a student that's in the hero class he's been trying so hard to get into. The boy he once looked up to, who shone so bright he seemed nearly untouchable, is now reduced to a vulnerable, traumatized teen that he's been tasked with taking care of. WARNING: In this fic some of the characters have a lot of trauma, and there will be some graphic chapters towards the beginning, though I tried to keep it to a minimum. There will be mentions of SA, psychological and physical abuse. I put warnings at beginnings of chapters, as well as the specific part of the chapter that may be triggering, when applicable. hiii, i decided to make a shinkami story, this is my first book, I am always open to suggestions and I hope you all like this book throughout the book we see that Denki kaminaris homelife is quite the best, his father hits him and blames him for his sister and mother's death. the only reason he doesn't tell counselors that he is being abused is that his little brother, he doesn't want to be separated in adoption homes. when shinsou is transferred to class 1a because Mineta was kicked out. He starts to see that something is masked behind that smile and bumble bee-like hair, will this tired, coffee-obsessed boy, and off-brand Pikachu learn to become great friends or perhaps.. even more than that TW!! self-harm homophobia talk of 13+ such (no not what you are probably thinking) ps.
