Fantasy, horror, and science fiction are my favorite genres to read. They are also my favorite to write. I've enjoyed writing since I won my first writing contest in the fourth grade. It's a mix of all of my favorite genres. I've mixed a fantasy, based on present-day Earth, with plenty of graphic horror and wrapped it all up within a world driven by the technological advancements that only can be obtained from millions of years of civilation. A small group of strangers find themselves surviving in a decimated world. It's bad enough to be stranded in a no-name town, but things become surreal when you realize the vast majority of humanity has died...it becomes terrifying when you realize you aren't that lucky to be alive. "Survivor's Guilt" isn't a thing when you find yourself the sole food source for an entire group of beings that no longer need to hide in the shadows. Man is no longer at the top of the food chain...they are now the cattle.

The characters and situations in this book are very real, if gore or horrific mental images scare you, then I wouldn't recommend reading far. DESCRIPTION: The Infection claimed the lives of over 3 billion people before the TV's went off. But it would claim many more. The problem didn't arise when those people got up and started walking again, or even when they started eating and infecting others, it began when people got desperate. In this new world, the true evil that humans are capable of gradually becomes more apparent, and a part of everyday life. Normality doesn't exist, people don't help other people. Friends aren't a thing anymore. All anyone truly has is themselves, and the burdens they carry.

It's Dipper and Mabel's third summer in Gravity Falls, but things don't go as smoothly as their second one. Weirdmaggedon has started all over again ; much worse than before. Other Info : Dipper and Mabel are 14, turning 15 (in case you can't do math). There's a two year time skip at one point, so they'll actually be 16, turning 17 for the majority. The twins have grown up, so they don't do as much stupid stuff. And, yes. This is a Billdip. If you don't like, you don't read, ok? Good. Minor cursing : cr*p being worst. Occasional blasphemy. Ok! WARNING: in this story you are depressed and have social anxiety. it sucks in reality (ik from experience) but I have some ideas on how to use these to a romantic fan girl advantage. ;). in this story you don't have any powers (sorry) but you are really strong and independent. you also have a pair of twin katanas that you carry around with you everywhere. your parent shipped you away for the summer. a town is visible from the small plane window. surrounded by a forested area it seemed pretty secluded. it might not be such a crappy summer vacation after all. I was really glad when I managed to get my katanas trough airport security too. I might have some time to practice. the weird sensation of someone following you snapped you back to reality. when you saw that no on was behind you calmed down and went back to planning how to not make the summer suck but for the rest of the day, you knew, someone was definitely following you.

The Grunkles don't fully agree with Mabels logic, but are still distant with Dipper, for they think he's a freak because of his anxiety. And so in the one place he felt he could truly call home, Dipper was now alone and hated by the "family" that once loved him. One night, Dipper overhears the family talking about how useless he is and, doing the only thing he knows, he runs.
