Regret

What he did was wrong. But he knew he had to do it. He really had to or he would be robbed from what little peace he had. So he did it.
For five years he had just accepted what had happened, lived with it in peace. As much as he can be in while living in a jail. But this life had yet again thrown him back into what had happened five years ago, and now he had to deal with the consequences of it, the real consequences of it. He did not have his peace with him anymore. All because someone actually stood by what they believed. And now he wasn't strong enough to face what had happened.
