Kagome's family awhile back found out that Kagome's uncle, her mother's brother found out that he was a father. He never knew about it since his ex-wife never told him, but he had just gotten back from the military when he was tracked down and was told that she was his daughter according to her birth certificate. So, he was to take her in. Kagome's mother was excited to have a new family member joining their family. Kagome and Serena were technically cousins but didn't get along at all. But only because of miscommunication Kagome thinks that Serena is a slut, she has sexual experience and issues. but Kagome never exactly understood what she went through. she just heard her uncle explain to his sister where she has been and what she's been doing for years.
