Twice is the child of the current SandWing queen. They aren't sure exactly what they did to deserve royal life, but it must've been something pretty bad. Their mother, Queen Dragonbite, forces them to tend to queenly royal duties, since "they'll have to take care of it one day." They don't  want to rule an entire kingdom, much less with a king they didn't want to marry. They're the only child, after all, and their cousin, Gila, has bullied them since the second they hatched. They didn't want to leave the throne to her. But perhaps an opportunity will come along for them to escape; perhaps in the form of two dragons.All Rights Reserved

The Rainforest Kingdom was being torn apart by its residents. The RainWing's and NightWing's. Queen Dandelion and King Palmtree are doing nothing to calm down their tribe, so, someone else has to. Lavender is an seven year old dragonet who belongs to both tribes. She's a hybrid, born from her RainWing mother and NightWing father. Her life is wonderful, at least in her family and small village close to the edge of the Rainforest. But, she's starting to notice the change within everyone, as if they know something is coming, something bad. Lavender wants to keep her kingdom safe, just like all dragons do, but she also wants to keep everyone connected and stop them from being torn apart. Will she be able to fix the ties that brought the RainWing's and NightWing's together? Or will they be split apart and she'll be stuck between torn sides. ------------------------ The Wings of Fire series is written by Tui T. Sutherland and this is just a fan-fiction based off of her series. No characters within this book are from the cannon books and it doesn't follow the cannon timeline. WoF Fanfiction - discontinued and really bad Hybrid was, well, a hybrid. She used to have a good life, kept hidden from the public. She didn't know what type of dragon she was and had no friends, but that didn't matter. She had her icewing dad, who took her out hunting and loved her enough to make up for everything else twofold. She thought that her difference wasn't necessarily bad. That all changed one day. Hybrid and her father were out, close to where they usually went hunting, and were celebrating her third birthday by going whaling. They were spotted. Another icewing took down her father, killing him for harboring a hybrid. Hybrid was dumped in the desert outside of the wall, where she was found by a sandwing. The sandwing drug her out to die in the dunes. She survived. Barely. After being stabbed by the sandwing's tail barb, she thought she was done for. The last thing that she remembered was her front talons feeling way too cold, especially in contrast to her sunburnt body. Then, black. When she woke up, she was even more different. A/N: I apologize, because, looking back, I kind of lost any inspiration for the first idea, can't mesh it with the idea I tried to throw in, and it would not make sense to ignore either of them....... So yeah this is discontinued, it's really a bad story. I may revamp it into a situation that makes more sense some time in the near future, though. Wings of Fire: Lemming's Story by Echoes_of_Polaris

NOTE: The following is a fanfiction inspired by Tui T Sutherland's "Wings of Fire" saga. "Wings of Fire" does not belong to me, and much of the material included in this story is fanon, not canon, though several canon characters will be making appearances throughout the story. Taking place during the events of "Book 1: The Dragonet Prophesy" and the War of SandWing Succession, this is the story of Lemming. Lemming is a young IceWing of middle class rank, who has been a loyal soldier on Blaze's side in the war for a couple years. She's small for an IceWing of her age, but has been able to use this to her advantage to become a successful soldier and survive in the war. However, after a battle takes a turn for the worse, Lemming is left as one of the few survivors and imprisoned in the SkyWing arena. This new world is more brutal than the battles she'd fought in the war, and the SkyWings don't kill for necessity -they kill for entertainment. Can Lemming survive in this new kill or be killed world, or will she be just another body to be swept from the arena sand? NOTE 2: Some of the wording and phrasing of Pt4 comes straight from "The Dragonet Prophesy". That wording was created by Tui T. Sutherland, not me, though I am using it for descriptive purposes in those specific scenes, which first appeared in "The Dragonet Prophesy". All chapter cover artwork made and designed by me.
