With his parents Toshinori and Inko Yagi neglecting him and down right forgetting they even had a son he's left with no one. When the twins got their quirk results, Izumi was blessed with a Telekinesis quirk identical to her mother's, and Izuku was seemingly born with nothing. Because of this, he faced neglect from his parents, abuse from his friends and sister, and was told by everyone to give up his dream. One day, 13-year-old Izuku couldn't take it anymore. He ran away from the family that abandoned him for being born the way he was. On that night, a miracle happened. It's amazing what you're capable of when you cut out the things that held you back.
