When Lilliana was turned into a vampire by her boyfriend/now-fiance Elijah Mikaelson, she certainly didn't expect being thrust into the middle of an all-out war between a family she barely knew, or to have to make allies, or to betray people that she cared about. 

Sometimes it was the immortal, all-powerful Mikaelson family battling against themselves, and most times it was the family of ageless vampires against foes such as violent witches and wayward werewolves. 



But the newest threat to the Mikaelson family, once again, comes back to haunt them from the deep past of their youth as vampires... and once again, the Mikaelsons, the oldest family in the world, either have their chance for this new evil to crush them, to bring about their downfall, or to bring them into a new future full of hope and light.
