30 Days till Winter

The heir of Winter, Prince Yule of Onsrevlis, is sent by his mother to the land of men under the protection of its own upcoming monarch, a woman! There, in Autumn, many stories unfold, and the prince finds himself very fond of the Autumnian heir.

'I can leave Winter if you reveal your feelings to me. You've made Autumn my home just for existing, my princess. How do you expect me to leave you for an unworthy throne?'
The prince approached her once again, only this time she allowed the space to decrease in size. He carefully cupped her cheeks and brought their foreheads together, breathing in her scent.
'You believe in all these gods, Your Majesty, so why don't you believe they sent me to you?'
Yule pulled back, gazing lovingly over her. He was quite aware this could go only two ways. His confession could be accepted by the princess, or it could push him further away from her, which he was most afraid of. But despite all of this, something told him to open his heart to her.
'I can't break the oath I made to your mother.'
'To the Shades with the oath!' Alorra swallowed empty. She never saw such a serious expression on his usually smiley face. 'I want you to want me, my princess. That, I crave with my whole heart.'

Nothing really prepared either of them for what was to come and that, only brought them closer to one another.
