In a world where vampires roamed,
the underground befell a disastrous curse after the beloved comedian, Sans, was deemed a murderous fiend and due to be exhiled from existence.
Sans ran away and seeked out refuge somewhere far away from Snowdin and the rest of society and any monsters. Without Papyrus's accompaniment, Sans was left to handle his demons on his own. Developing feelings of resentment and anger drove the skeleton to seek out the town's many residents and feed off of them purposely, giving the ruling king something to fear.

In fear, king Asgore's royal scientist, Alphys, decided to try and formulate a grand army of strong reinforcements to take the rogue skeleton down. however, her attempts did not succeed as none of the army were strong enough.

But.. that all changed when a special young girl fell into the underground.
