"Abby, I like you," he said as if it were no big deal.
I sighed. "I have a rule book." There was a confused look on his face. "It's full of things I'm not allowed to do."
"Like what?"
"No getting drunk. No fighting. No sports team." I paused and looked him in those beautiful eyes. "No relationships."
He looked hurt. "So we could never-"
I cut him off."I said I had a rule book." I smirked. "I didn't say I obeyed it."

Abigail was immuned from getting hurt; the rules prevented heartbreak. With 21 simple rules, Abigail, and her brother Andrew, avoided pain. Ever since their father got a job that constantly had them relocating across the country, Abigail's been quite the strong one. But one day, Abbigail gets an idea.
