Centuries ago the realm was filled with wielders of the four elements. Some could wield more than one element while most others could only wield one. It was extremely rare to not have any wielding ability.
Now times have changed. Things have taken a turn and now there is only one family left with the power to wield only the element of fire.
The Ashburn family took the throne with no one able to oppose them. They promised protection and wealth to the realm. They built their campaign on lies and deceit.
Now it is up to an unlikely pair to either run off to a better life for themselves, or fight for a better life of all the people of the realm.

Even in a world of perfect beings such as elves, lies can be spun as precisely as an arrow can pierce a target, and evil can sneak up on you when you least expect it. Mia is used to reading about this kind of stuff, not living it. Safe to say she finds herself in one hell of an adventure. - - TW: if you need a tw for fighting, violence, weapons, blood, death, etc. I would read with caution (I don't get into any gory details, but there are scenes w/ this) I will put tw's for the more violent scenes.Complete
