Missing The Mark

"I've been trying all morning to get a spare moment with you," he said in a deep husky growl.

A shiver ran through my body, igniting a desire inside of me. I slid my hands across his biceps, feeling his lean muscles hold me. He pulled me close and rested his forehead on mine.

I closed my eyes, breathing in his scent. I felt his breath on my lips. The gap between us was miniscule, but he was waiting for me to close it this time.

I turned my head and pushed my lips into his. They immediately welcomed me, intensifying the kiss. He walked me backwards until my back was against the bookshelves. I let out a small gasp on impact. It only made Marvel hungrier for my lips.

One hand tangled into my hair, tugging at the roots and the other rested on the small of my back, pressing me against his powerful body.

His mouth moved lower, kissing my jaw and then my neck. I tried, but couldn't bite back the moan that escaped me.

In one move, Marvel pushed me up against the wall, holding the backs of my thighs and squeezing. Instinctively, I wrapped my legs around his torso. His mouth captured mine and our hands searched each other's bodies, begging for more.
