While she was sleeping, Clint came home, "Laura, I'm home, kids." Laura came in from the living room, hugging Clint said, "Veronica fell asleep on the couch." Clint nodded, and told her they had company. Laura said hi, then Lila, Nathaniel, and Cooper came running,.Picking up Nathaniel, he hugged Lila, and Cooper, then "mamma," Laura heard Veronica, she went into the living room, and picked up Veronica. Bringing her into the kitchen, she handed Veronica over to Clint, who held Veronica. Then she saw Nat, and smiled, Nat took her from Clint, and Veronica asked, "are you staying for good?" Nat said they were staying for a little while, and then Veronica sneezed. Clint took her from Nat, and Laura told him she was coming downwith a cold.

"I retired from that life. I don't even have my suit anymore, the feds took it when I went under house arrest," - After her team was torn apart by a thick packet of paper, Ellie Barton was placed under house arrest. She hoped, that when it was all over, she could live a normal life and raise her daughter. But, of course, life won't allow that. The day before she gets released, a magician opens a portal and she's dragged right back into the hero life. She didn't want it of course. But the universe needed her. So she fought. Maybe not as hard as she could've. - "You know, I'd offer to cook you dinner, but you seem pretty miserable already," I looked over to see Steve leaned against the doorway. "It's today, isn't it?" He asked. "Bingo, Rogers. She would've been 8 today," I said. "You here to do your laundry?" I asked, standing back up and pulling out two mugs. "I'm here to see some friends," He said. "Clearly your friends are fine," I said, grabbing the mugs and we moved to the council room. - Disclaimer - I don't own any of the rights to the characters or the plotlines, except for Ellie and my ideas.
