The night was dark and cold as a woman lied in her bed, breathing heavily and sweating due to the immense pain in her abdomen. She looks down and lets out a loud shriek as tears flow from her eyes and down her cheeks from the pain, blood now puring onto the bed on which the woman lied. Even for an upper rank demon, the pain that she felt was still almost unbearable. But she knew in her heart that it would all be worth it. At least, she had hoped so. She looks down and sees her now infant child that was completely silent, and unmoving. For a briefe moment she feels as though her world would shatter and crumble around her in that moment. Until she hears a soft whimpering cry. This woman was Daki. She picks up her infant child, cradling him in her arms and looking down at him with a loving smile. It was in that moment that she made a promise. One that she would do whatever it took fro her to keep, even if it killed her as she softly says to her infant son.

Daki: "I will always be there to protect you, my sweet, beautiful Shichi."
