After graduating from Gotham University with honors, a young psychiatrist, Harleen Quinzel earns an internship at Arkham Asylum under the supervision of it's director, Jeremiah Arkham. The freshly renovated asylum provides the perfect setting for the new doctor to learn and thrive, but when she arrives, Dr. Arkham is all too eager to involve her with the most dangerous patients. Unsure of herself, but not willing to give up, the inexperienced doctor will have to face off with some of Gotham's most dangerous minds in an Asylum with a dark past that's just beginning to unravel.
