This collection of poetry is my story. This is all the things I struggle or struggled with within myself, and most of these things I've overcome. The purpose of this collection is to help y'all understand that you're not alone. Enjoy.Complete
The Scars I Carry
A collection I've put together of a few original poems I've written over the years. These poems are relating to personal experiences and emotions, and I debated publishing them for a very long time. I've finally decided to publish some of my work in hopes that they can help some people through difficulties, as writing them helped me. I will be adding more as I write them of course. There are various forms and styles so each piece is different from the others, although this collection follows similar themes. I will be putting trigger warnings for each and every poem that requires them, as well as which triggers are contained in which poems that way you have the best idea of what you will find. If at any point you feel triggered by my writing or by something else, please don't be afraid to reach out for help, you are never alone, I promise you. The themes/possible triggers contained within this collection are the following; self-harm, suicide attempts and general talk of suicide, emotional and psychological abuse, childhood trauma, mental health and mental illness (anxiety, depression, ptsd, anorexia- etc), death and dying-and others. Poems, Stories, & Essays On Womanhood, Femininity, & Erotica. This mostly autobiographical work describes many of my experiences, thoughts, and ideas through several media. There's poems describing my feelings and thoughts I want to share with moments of humor included. My stories are about things that's happened in my life that I wanted to tell. Some are silly while others are important to better understand me. There's articles and short essays about my thoughts, ideas, and beliefs surrounding womanhood and my place in the world. My commentaries include notes on these works and gives additional insight on both my mind and my heart. This work is listed as mature and contains materials not suitable for people under 18.
