Takes place a year after Skybound. This is an AU where instead of Jay going in the portal, Nya does. You will know in detail the happenings within that one year and/or before in the flashbacks. All the while, Jay learns more about the past of the Elemental Masters and has to decide whether or not to make a sacrifice to save his friends. I've never really written a fanfic before so go easy on me! I think this goes without saying but I don't own Ninjago or the character in Ninjago.

Nadakhan steals ancient relics and uses it to turn the team against Jay. But maybe it was Jay who turned on them. -There will be a short Nya/Jay/Cole love triangle, and definite Evil!Jay. -This is a big fat work in progress that I am doing just for fun.

After the events of skybound, jay is having trouble dealing with what happened. He is depressed and has a breakdown. With his friend's help he may be able to get through it all. Or will a villain from the past come back to destroy jay and force him to relive his trauma. I know this is a really lousy summery but the story is pretty good so give it a read.
