Blake and Luna were almost inseparable when they were little. They played, ate, and went fishing, among other things. Being twins, they shared everything in common, but some key differences were Luna's tail and eyes. Despite that, they still spent every day together. They slowly started drifting apart in their teen years when Blake met Adam. Luna didn't have any friends due to her being more introverted than Blake, but she tried her best to stay with her sister. Blake was at that point in someone's life where she didn't want to spend any time with her sister, blew up at her, left for the White Fang, and emotionally damaged Luna.
