What if... Tally Craven was the "main-main character?" Would Talder have a chance, if Tally and Alder were supposed to find each other?
At Fort Salem, General Sarah Alder is a person of authority, respect, admired and feared at the same. However, after all these hundreds of years, she has never given anyone the chance to get close enough again. Afraid to experience the pain of loosing another loved one to ancient enemies or life itself, she decided to not let anyone get under her skin.
For the young cadet, Tally Craven though, love is most desirable and essential in life. After breaking up with her boyfriend and quitting on their 'fuck-dates', her goal slipped further away.
Yet all of this was about to change, when on a mission Craven decided to go against what she had believed before attending.

This fanfic is set around the time Tally decided to save General Alder's life on the Tarim mission. (Season two) Not everything is accurate, to how it happened in the second season of Motherland: Fort Salem. It is inspired by conversations and/ or situations, which offered so many chances to make the two finally kiss...
I don't own any characters and some parts of conversations from the show are added as they had been said, or changed slightly.
