Armin decided to move school for his senior year of high school to a place he would finally be seen as the boy he is.
He finally got to start hormones and got his name changed, and hopes to graduate as his true self.
Leaving his old friends behind for a new school the next town over is scary though, he fears he will be lonely all year and only study during his last fun school year.
Jean, an art student who has still been dealing with the grief with the loss of his best friend has spent his last year cooped up in the art studio.
With no ambitions left and a dwindling social life he can't see a future for himself after high school.
When the two young boys cross paths in school one day and make an unusual bond, they strive to have the best of their last high school year together.

25 year old Jean Kirstein took up a job at the a fairly local, warn down coffee shop called The Maria Cafe. 18 year old Armin Arlert moved into town a few weeks ago and was still learning the basics of the place. One day he wandered around his neighborhood to stubble upon a cute, little coffee shop called The Maria Cafe. Over time the two began to spark up conversation about the weather. Poor Armin, after having his heart violently ripped out and shredded to pieces, he falls for this tall, adorable cashier. Jean, however, doesn't particularly take notice of the little blonde's feelings. Since they were basically best friends now, Armin and Jean spent the night at an old apartment building complex, drinking and daring one another. Until day break, however...
