At the beginning of the day, it looked like it was going to be another great 24 hours, but in reality, it couldn't have been worse. Lindsay and Mason were able to escape the school and hide somewhere safe, while their friends, Nicole and Harrison, went to the clubhouse, in hopes of finding them there.
Lindsay and Mason ran to their home, but their parents weren't there and they didn't want to wait to find out if they were even still arrive. Neither of them had their license, but in this new world, it didn't matter. They drove to their grandma's house, all the way out in the middle of nowhere, and planned on staying there until hopefully things would calm down and take care of itself.
