Matthew Rambeau was an ordinary fifteen year old boy, with normal friends, and a pretty basic life. That all ended when a human-sized package arrived at his doorstep.

Matt is bewildered, but is even more confused when he finds out his father's French background, and the fact that he created an efficient machine with his... Uncle? Matt tries to put the pieces together and figure out how he's somehow connected to whatever is inside the strangely large crate.

Once Matt realizes what he's acquired, he doesn't understand anything anymore; he shoves his feelings aside, before he even realizes that he has hopelessly fallen in love, with no one other than, his very own robot.

Norman is none other than, what any knowledgeable person would call an android, or for simplicity; a robot. He was designed to obey and excel in any tasks given by whomever he's assigned to.

Norman is an effective and intelligent creation. Even so, he still can't understand, after many self reboots and procedures, why he his metallic cheeks self-heat without the winter cool, or why his gears turned faster in his mechanical abdomen whenever he's around Matthew Rambeau: his assigned owner.
