1. I do not own Undertale or its characters. Props to Toby Fox and the Undertale team for gifting us the beauty of Undertale and the characters. This story also includes spoilers for all of UNDERTALE, so be aware of that.
This story was really meant for AU fans who already have a deep understanding of both Gaster and Undertale. Without such details, it won't make much sense at all.
2. I will be using a few headcanons throughout the Undertale community for unexplained things about Gaster, souls, magic, RESETs, etc.
After two Genocide routes, there is nothing new...except for the return of an old friend. The former royal scientst, Dr. W.D Gaster, takes control of this world by stealing the human's soul and body. He is now dedicated to finding his memories and becoming known once again. Perhaps he can even save monsterkind, just as he intended to do so long ago.
(this isnt meant to be some amazing story, really. i'm just sillying. sorry if you want anything original)

Also, this story is COMPLETED, so don't expect any more updates. I also drew the cover.) A long time ago, the first human fell down into the ruins. A monster named Asriel came to help her, and quickly accepted her into the family. However, a disease fell upon the young child, and she died shortly after. Years later, a 7th human fell down into the ruins. However, the spirit of the first human took over her body, and decided to take out her revenge on the monsters of the underground. Peace Doesn't Come After Death- Undertale AU Fanfic (Reborntale)
Monsters get reborn after death. Reborn monsters don't remember their past memories. They either turn into a demon or an angel based on their psychological state. The more pure the monster, the more holy they are. Same thing for the other one. When they have more darkness and pain the monster has before death, they have more power as demons and their tails are longer. An angel and demon being together meant that the demon is tricking and manipulating the angel. Papyrus became an angel after being sliced by the human, and Sans turned into a demon for his soul was full of anger, hate, vengeance, and regret. Being reborn usually meant complete loss of memories. But Sans can remember everything. Clearly. He can remember his beloved brother, his "unique" spagetti, the horrible torture experiments by the doctor... EVERYTHING. So what happens if Sans meets with his brother once again?
