The is my interpretation of the beginning of season 4. Nobody knows that Elena is sired to Damon yet. But the sire bond story line will come in this story, so will the vampire hunter. In my version Elena drinks Damon's blood because she can't keep down animal blood. They go around sneaking her drinking from Damon and hiding it from everyone, especially Stefan. The thing is sharing blood is very intimate. And what happens when Elena finds herself enjoying it?


Elena and Damon aren't going to get together instantly I hate when fanfics do this. But they will end up together.

It's a bit slow in the start but she's already drinking Damon's blood by chapter 2 - I update regularly.
