What if you had a great destiny?

Small Mosskit always thought that her destiny was to be the greatest warrior in the forest of fire, water, and sky. But then a tragic accident came roaring down the river, washing her destiny downstream. And who she used to be faded away, becoming a distant memory of someone who once dreamed.

She became a different cat, one who was quieter and always obedient. Reserved and shy to speak up, she kept most of her thoughts to herself and the select few whose paths crossed hers. But even long after the accident, there was one thing that she could never do; she couldn't fight.

Since she was born in FireClan, Mosspaw watched her denmates train with their mentors, encounter border skirmishes, pass assessments and go to battle to wield the skills they've honed for so long. But unlike many others, Mosspaw would feel a deep disquiet before a battle that wouldn't rest until they came back in victory or in defeat.

Another tragedy strikes the camp, leaving cats reeling in waves of grief. The outbreak left cats injured and sick, and one cat didn't care enough to stay. With a traitor in their midst, Mosspaw- newly named Mosspath- changes her destiny as a cat turns rogue and leaves the clan.

Yet strange, ominous words still haunt her dreams in the dark of dusk. Each night she would wake up with a sense of loss, trying to grasp something that always slipped away in the mist every time she tried to seize it.

When storm clouds cover the sun, the dying flames will scatter to the raining skies.

To a loner named Sun, life's been hard ever since her mother left her because of a power she didn't understand. On her own for just about three moons, she thinks she's hardened and strong enough to take on any cat who comes at her. Oh, how was she wrong. Soon, she runs into the four Clans: CloudClan, HollyClan, BreezeClan, and FlowerClan. She joins CloudClan, determined to start over and make a new life for herself. She doesn't need her mother. She doesn't need anyone but her new family, her Clanmates. On the night of her official welcoming into the Clan, something changes her mind: a prophecy, from the ancestors of her Clanmates. The prophecy states that the "apple will rise." The daughter of the leader, Applefoot, was never friendly with her. Suddenly, a plot seems to be uncovering itself right in front of Sunpaw's eyes. And with her power, she's the perfect candidate to rise to the top and save everyone. But something is stopping her. Something is tainting her soul, persuading her to use her powers for evil, and not good. Unless she can break free of what's binding her, she won't be able to use her powers for good. All she'll be able to do is cause pain, more pain, and even more pain. But it's not so easy, especially when she's got herself tangled in the ropes of the darkness. Suddenly, she realizes that she's no better than Applefoot. Paired with slowly falling hopelessly in love with a cat who never is clear with her, breaking free of her dark insides is seeming harder and harder. If she can't do it, then she'll never be able to see the face of good again. She'll be another apprentice gone wrong, and all she'll be remembered for is darkness. Sunpaw can't let that happen. But unless she figures out how to cut herself free from the darkness, then it will happen. And there will be nothing she can do it about it.
Omen of the Sun Book Three: Dusk by Hollyleaf_
54 parts Complete
The Clans - especially CloudClan - are going through hard times. After a hard leaf-bare, battles, and a startling change in leadership, it seems like the end of the world. Sunpool's world is changing in ways she never expected. Thrown choice after choice, she has to make a decision to save the Clans from the dark leadership of Applestar. But what happens when the best choice means she looses all the cats she cares about? Not to mention the prophecy that says she'll die, which, according to StarClan, is subject to change by she, Sunpool. Sunpool doesn't want to die, but she's got more on her plate than trying to figure out how to change a prophecy, which shouldn't even be possible. Between new discoveries of powers in her friends to coping with Goldleaf's death, with the added challenge of trying to defeat Applestar, coupled with trying to keep up a normal life for the sake of her Clanmates, she can hardly handle one more thing. Then there's the mysterious omen from StarClan that says that maybe - just maybe - there's a way to bring back Goldleaf. But all magic - especially powerful magic like this - comes with a price. Sunpool will do anything to get Goldleaf back, especially now, that she thinks they might have a future, but can she pay this price? Then there's Lightningfeather changing sides every other day. No cat knows who he's truly working with: his sister, or the cat he loves. Applestar's kits are growing fast, and Sunpool fears that they may have an added twist in the prophecy. Moreover, she fears that one of them might have to die so she can get what she wants. Can she be this selfish? Tangled in webs of lies, missing cats, death, love, and sacrifice, it all comes down to one question: How far will one cat go to get what they want? A battle is approaching... and the prophecy is coming to completion. Who will pay the price for another cat's happiness? Will the dead stay dead? Or will a cat whose heart has stopped walk the earth once again?

Rainpaw! Ashpaw!" The cats cheered as the new apprentices stood up a little taller. Rainpaw padded over to Flowerwhisker and touched their noses. Rainpaw purred with happiness. Everything seemed perfect. Until suddenly her vision ran dark, her legs wouldn't move, her chest felt like she couldn't breathe. Rainpaw found herself enclosed in darkness until she heard words echoing around her. "The rain will quench the fire and dreams will be broken before a new life will rise from the cinders." Read along about Rainpaw's journey and what her future holds for her. What was the prophecy the odd voice had told her? Who was going to broken? Was Rainpaw going to save her clan?
