Hello everyone! This is my first ever fanfic. I am both extremely excited and also terrified at the same time. This is a DamiRae AU. I have wanted to play with the idea of Raven being a witch during the Salem Witch Trials so.. I did the thing. I hope you enjoy. This is the just the first chapter, I would appreciate any(polite) feedback. Please please please let me know if you'd like more chapters!
A solitary witch left alone in the world, her past turned to ash before her eyes. Now, with no one and nowhere to go Rachel must evade the witch hunters who search for her relentlessly. After her escape she is found by a handsome traveler. His cold nature gives her a sense of unease, like he's hiding something, that would make two of them. Will their secrets be the end of their new connection, or does love really conquer all?

Why the World Needs Damirae (Damian x Raven)
I decided to write this explaining why this ship between the characters of Damian Wayne/Robin and Rachel Roth/Raven needs to happen. This is the only time I've ever truly cared that a ship has to take place to write something about it. I mean we all have our characters that we want to see paired up. But, with this particular ship we have a slim chance that it might not fully take place. (Even though I think it will based on all that's been set up, because if they didn't that'd be really stupid). I also want to make this clear from the get go before I'm bombarded with comments that I don't hate BBRAE shippers I may not like the pairing but I respect other people's viewpoints. Now, that we got that out of the way I'm going to go ahead and list all the reasons why this ship NEEDS to happen. Update: It is official and it is beautiful.
