They're both fighting for what they want, though what exactly that is starts to blur when feelings get involved. - boxing AU - sassy Taehyung and defensive Jeongukk - BTS cast *** Growing up in a generation without war doesn't mean that everything is fine and dandy. Especially if you fall through the foster system, don't have a high school diploma and your country's economy is suffering after a major war. But the 80s is a time when a lot of big names in professional boxing come from Korea and Jeongukk plans to become one of them soon. Not only for himself, not only for his dead parents, but also for his Hyungs. People who have become his family without blood and genes. People who in his opinion deserve to be happy more than anyone else. Taehyung has seen it all. The wars, the periods of peace and then the wars again. Hoping to finally break this vicious cycle seems foolish and naive to him, but that's just the way humans are; unable to learn from their mistakes and to straighten things out after messing up. And therefore it is unfathomable to him why exactly this demand forces him to walk this earth for so long. But then his path leads him to a small boxing studio in Busan and into the lives of six young men searching for a good life, leading Taehyung to reconsider. Because in the end, each of them faces the same question. Can a fight over the past and future be won, and if so, at what price?
