A Game of Guns and Gulfs

In a world where virtual reality has become the cornerstone of society, few are aware of its dangerous consequences. One of them is Lysia Reed, known in-game as Ace; former best player of Night Watch: Midnight, one of the biggest VR games of the century. At just 17 years old, she was one of the most famous VR gamers in the world until she disappeared from the scene without a trace. From boredom to murder, the rumours surrounding her disappearance run the gamut.

In reality, she is trying to live a quiet, peaceful life away from the troubles she left behind. However, when a new game based on NWM is released, a glitch leads to her name being placed on the top of the Bounty List, offering 1.8 million dollars for her life. When one of her former friends, a cocky gunslinger named Ambrose, arrives to save her life, she's pulled back into a world she'd longed to forget. As Ace tries to survive what her past throws at her, she can no longer avoid the game or the people she ran from. Uncertain of who she can and cannot trust, she knows one thing: she wants revenge on those who forced her into hiding. And so she begins the most dangerous game in existence - one that could cost her not only her heart, but also her life.

On the 10th anniversary of the game, Doctor studios, the company that made the game, decided to host an event. Across the world, tournaments will be held, to see who can survive the longest in their game. Being given 100 days, a hundred players per tournament must survive. The rework for doing so is 100000 dollars and the opportunity to play in the bigger tournaments and win more money. But that 100000 dollars will be divided amongst the survivors, which meant that players would be battling amongst themselves to get the money for themselves. In one of these tournaments, was a boy who lived in a small town. After arguing with his friends, the boy ends up competing for solo without them. He soon finds himself as the most wanted person on that server. Will he survive on his own? Or will the multitude of small teams crush him? Find out in... "Life Is Fun".
