His mother tries to protect him from this fate by running away and finding a home for them on a trading ship that travels from world to world. They are safe for now, but how long can they hide from the best trackers in the universe? This is the first book in the My Kingdom Come series. It's the late 21st century, and animatronics are everywhere, especially in schools. These robots were programmed to help children learn, and to be personable - That's it. But some have exceeded their original programming and are beginning to rebel. Update: I changed the cover to make it look more professional... I might change it again, who knows... Update: Yeah, I didn't like the other one... This is a picture of the original four. Update (July 30th): Sorry for not updating in some time; I had robotics and pottery classes for a couple weeks which left me a little too tired to write. :P Update (September): Mantid and this story are in the same universe, this one is just later in the timeline. After his father married some woman who was a rich socialite, and Ashe started going to the same school her daughters, Ashe ended up in the same class as one of them too, and she held a huge grudge against him for some reason. That petty grudge drove her to do unspeakable things to him, things she could never take back, and drove a peaceful boy like Ashe to a destructive headspace. He became broken, inside and out. He felt like there was no hope left in living and wanted to end it all. That was until he met a stranger named Beatrix who changed his life for the better.
