Kirito is known as the Black Swordsman, one of the most powerful Solo Knights on the front lines, people who works alone. He has a tough time working with others, small or large groups. Though he has a reason to avoid working with others, three actually. Reasons that could get him killed. That all becomes hard when he meets Asuna. She awakens something in him, something that gets harder to control the more she is around. Asuna is the vice commander of the Knights of the Blood Oath and one of the most powerful fighters on the front line. She, along side her father and commander, Heathcliff, lead the humans into battle with the demons. Then she met the Solo Knight, Kirito, know better as the Black Swordsman. She is drawn to him, though she does not understand why. But she wants to know why he is alone, why he fights solo. Characters of Sword Art Online are used in this story, but with changes to their back ground. Some language.

With Kirito beating Heathcliff, a.k.a Kayaba Akihiko (who was also Ume's uncle), everyone was released from the game. But alas, that isn't where the story ends. Kirito and Asuna meet together in real life, happy as can be, only to find out three hundred players have yet to awaken from their slumber. Asuna leads Kirito to Ume's family's hospital and asked to see her. When they reach her, they expect her to be awake and send a sarcastic remark for not knocking, but instead, she is still unconscious and shows no signs of waking up soon. Everyday, they visit her, or Evey few days, but still she lays there, unmoving. Then, Kirito gets an email from Agil with a picture, and in it was of a girl with snow white hair and icy blue eyes and wings made of crystal. Kirito tells Asuna to wait for him, that he'll save Ume, and return. This is a retelling of my least favorite arc in, "Sword Art Online," which is the, "Fairy Dance Arc." I am going to attempt writing my own version of the story that is much darker and focuses on things that the original arc didn't focus on. The story follows Kirito, after he wakes up from beating, "Sword Art Online." He learns that Asuna didn't wake up with him and he now struggles to find a reason to keep trying to live his life. Once he learns that Asuna is still alive in a different game, he must find the motivation to become the player that he once was in, "Sword Art Online," in order to save her from a threat unlike anything he has faced, before. Two whole years were spent there, stuck in that castle. Each and every one of those who survived have their own story to tell. This is one such story, about a battle-fanatic who earned the moniker of 'the Blood Red Oni'. We might stick close to the original story, or we might veer greatly off-course. Only the Gods will know, for I surely don't. Title is also still very much a Work in Progress, this was just the first thing I could think of. Honestly this has just been a thing that's been brewing deep in my mind for months now, so instead of just daydreaming about random scenes and story bits I decided to actually 'put it to paper' in some form. Updates might be scarce, or they might be fast. Entirely dependant on my inspiration and my time. As with every story, I don't own anything regarding SAO or its story, except for the characters I made I guess.
