However, it doesn't take long for you to realize you've gotten yourself into something much more severe than a regular friendship. ... ... Emergence, or Metamorphosis if you prefer, has an incredible shock value, but that doesn't mean it's good. I spent a fair amount of time in Japan as a worker. The taboos found in this "hentai" really interested me to explore this twisted alt-Japan. Here's my take on this heart-breaking story since it seems (in my search anyway) there aren't many people willing to embrace the raw nature of this grotesque universe.Complete
