Less than a hundred years after the restoration of the Targaryen dynasty and a war of succession later, new struggles for power and love arise among the scions of the royal House.
The king on Dragonstone is old, his only heir a bastard-born girl that he legitimized and her children by a brother that he never quite got along with.
It is a precarious position, made stronger only by carefully woven alliances with the king of the Landing and amongst themselves.
But envy can be a cruel mistress and, when an arranged betrothal gets in the way of a dragon rider's desires, the consequences could be disastrous.
