Mayline never expected to be given a mission by the king himself, especially since she was prepared to be executed. Travel to the neighboring kingdom, sneak in and steal an object, get out. Sounds simple enough. 

Only this mission is anything but simple. It's filled with lies, betrayal, love and secrets that cause Mayline to question what her true intentions are.
