Thalia was the only living child of Zeus, the god of thunder, and Luke was a son of Hermes, the messenger of the gods. Being half bloods gives us a strong scent. A scent that attracts bloodthirsty monsters at every turn. We run because if we ever stop, they'll catch us and kill us. We run because there's no other options. Nowhere for people like us. Not a safe place in the world. So we keep running. Disclaimer: Any recognizable characters (such as Thalia, Annabeth, Luke, Artemis, and Zoë Nightshade) belong to the genius, Rick Riordan.
