Y/N has moved to Heatherfield with his friend Koyomi Fueki who has been with him since the incident, and Shigeru Wajima who is opening a new jewellery shop in Heatherfield. Both Y/N and Koyomi Fueki have enrolled at Sheffield Institute for studying, but what they didn't know was he was a hero named Kamen Rider Wizard and the beacon of their hope, He thought he had moved on with his past, but his past had started to come back to him.

A group of demons called Phantoms who were born from within the bodies of people in despair, who are called Gates. Not only are they given a task to find more Gates and place them in despair so that more of their kind can be created, but their second task is to find and destroy Y/N who survived the incident.
