Jade Mayfield, a 19 year old senior who attends Hawkins High. She works at the record store next to Family Video where her best friends Steve and Robin work. Jade and her older brother Billy co parent to take care of their younger sister Max. Susan Hargrove, their mom is someone who drinks a lot, and couldn't be bothered to take care of her kids. 

Jade is incredibly smart, she keeps to her self a lot only talking to her friends. 

Eddie Munson is the one person who can make Jade feel like steam is going to come out of her ears. She hates him, he makes her livid.
