In an English society in Yeago, Charles Engel lived a normal life in the centre of Germany. Nice job, good food and a loving family. But when a soldier by the name of Commander Sage appears in town Charles must go and fight for his country. With the death of his mother pushing him to survive he must join Zero and the other men in the Airborne troop and conquer Germany. This is WWII...
This is not a true story of a man named Charles Engel. Yeago does NOT exist. But World War Two did happen with over 50-70 million people who died.

This is a Countryhumans story about Germany and Russia. Warning: This is a slow burn. Germany is an excited and hardworking person who miraculously was accepted to one of the most prestigious universities. His foster father urges him to go to a field that is in Germany's opinion, dull and boring, as he has his own opinion on what is interesting to him. As always, there are ups and downs, but he is giddy with freedom and doesn't let anyone faze him. Until he finds that the subject his foster father wants him to pursue is a prerequisite Russia, on the other hand, is a stoic, blunt and straightforward, sometimes being aggressive and reserved. He amazingly passed the tests to be accepted to the Globally recognized university, and is ushered out of his home to get a degree to be able to help his father feed his family. he has no time for youthlike fun, frivolous adventures and romance. He expects the year to be dull but needed for his life. Both of them don't expect to become friends, and avoid eye contact. Germany then wishes to have more of the classes with Russia, just to get close. Does he succeed? That is the question. Her and England were best friends and England promised (Y/n) that nothing bad was ever going to happen to her so (Y/n) never had to be strong because England was always there to protect her. When Turkey invaded (Y/n) England made sure to get his army ready and took Turkey down without any trouble. (Y/n) did feel very guilty though when England would get invaded by France and Spain and (Y/n) could do nothing but watch from afar. She wanted to help her best friend like he had helped her but England wouldn't allow (Y/n) to get a single scratch on her plus she didn't really have anything to offer since most of her army was from England anyway, and her guns and artillery were old and outdated. Yet she still tried to help as much as she could. Her farmland was the best of the best and she had lots of jewels in the ground that she mined and gave to England. It was always hard, hard work but it was the least she could do. But it is far from what he expects: Henry's fantasies of righteous battle fade into the grim reality of gruesome death and shell-shock. He and his fellow soldier Jacob must help each other survive the cruel trenches, but it is no longer certain that either of them will return to England alive. Told in journal entries and letters from Henry's sister Elizabeth, this reveals the realities and horrors of World War I, on the battlefield and in the homefront. I wrote this for a history project while studying WWI and got way too involved in it, so here you are. WARNINGS: gun/bomb/gas-related violence, war descriptions, graphic death, suicide attempt. I will mark specific chapters with warnings and give summaries of those chapters on the following one.
