William Afton has been experimenting with humanoid animatronics for quite some time, with the help of his dear friend, Henry Emily. The two have not had much success. Henry's had it up to here with Will's constantly failing a project, promising the next prototype will turn out better, giving up early, and the cycle continuing. Will, not wanting Henry to leave, comes up with a plan.
Will knows Henry had a daughter―Charlotte, better known as Charlie, tragically passed on her 5th birthday in the rainy spring of 1983. Henry's been grieving ever since. Will knows the best way to heal his friend, and their relationship, is to fix the child-sized hole in his heart. And what better way to do that than with a child?
Enter, Will's robotics degree. William is a genius when it comes to machinery, and despite his low tolerance for failure, he can do impressive things when he puts his mind to it. He soon creates an animatronic child nearly identical in nature to Charlie―kind, giving, mild-mannered and protective. He names it Project M.I.K.E., which stands for "Machine with the Intent to Keep him Euphoric," 'him' being Henry―obviously, he doesn't tell him this. Henry immediately loves the robot boy and claims it as his child, taking care of it as if it were Charlie herself.
But William is more than a genius... He's a mastermind. He's built something that he can never undo. He's unleashed something nobody would ever suspect on this poor 80s Utah town. And now that he knows what he can do, nothing can stop him. Nothing... But his own son.
In other words in case you can't read all that:
William creates a Willry fanchild and he ends up being way more powerful than anyone could ever expect from this purple idiot
