All she wants is to return home but when Lucifer's plan starts to take shape she realises she is the key to destroying Heaven and she may be the only one who can save it. Razakiel has been the Devil's right hand man ever since the Fall. He despises Lucifer and everything he's done, but when he discovers Abbegael's secret he finally has a chance to get home. Because sacrificing the Devil's daughter could be the one thing to save him and Heaven alike. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Trapped within the fiery depths of Hell, her only chance of escape is him; a stranger, the enemy. "I'm not going to hurt you," he growls in my ear, "Neither am I going to hand you over to that Bastard." I flinch at the anger in his voice and confusion rushes through me. "What?" I squeak, attempting to get air into my constricted lungs. He sighs, the warm air brushing against my neck, sending goose bumps skittering across my skin. "I'm not going to tell him you intend to escape. How can I when I plan to do the same thing?" My mind whirls as I attempt to understand what he is saying. He wants to escape? But he is one of Lucifer's most trusted. How does that even happen? He's lying. "I'm not lying. I needed him to trust me or I would never find a way to get out." "You know a way out? Wait. Did you just read my thoughts? How did you just read my thoughts? I thought you were a shield!" Once again his sigh of exasperation leaves goose bumps on my skin and a shiver running down my spine. "I am a shield. It just so happens that I'm a reader too. Yes, that is possible. Obviously. Now can I let you go, or are you going to try and kill me again?" © 2013 by Froggie27. This is the continuation from Summer Tide. As always, commentary and rating of the story is welcome. This story is dedicated to... To Kassie for being a patient editor, drilling in organization skills into my head since high school and just being an awesome friend. Matt for being the greatest love, encouraging me to keep writing no matter what anyone said, willing to listen to my insane ideas no matter how late it was at night, and being my muse. My family who supported my creativity and been my greatest fans throughout all of it. Jeff, my brother, for providing me with unique depth for this story. And last, but not least; the best band and greatest musical inspiration: Fall Out Boy, whose songs I could never live without nor write without. Here is the description: After five years of loneliness, Dawn has just about given up again. No word from Emery Winchester, the only man/ vampire who ever expressed a love for her, a simpleton job of taking peoples portraits at a local photography studio, and a crammed apartment with her ADHD best friend, Patrick. Yeah, she doesn't have much to live for. Until the letter and invitation that is. One to a grand masquerade ball, giving her an opportunity to search for absent Emery behind masks and Victorian gowns, and a letter of importance to the truth of her heritage. Meanwhile, a serial killer is on the loose and targeting Dawn specifically. Does she have something to live for now? To escape and outwit Legion, the cult that fawns over of the killer, she must go to England where a journey of the mind & soul is waiting and a search of her curiously unknown family. Only to discover the identity of her stalker and world far more complicated than she could have ever imagined...

[BOOK TWO] "Anniversaries to some are like counting the years spent doing something great, years spent together, or years spent alive." I started slowly, voice dropping to a drawl as I peeked cautiously out of my bedroom blinds, scanning the road to see if there was a cloaked figure watching my every movement. "I view anniversaries as counting down the days till death finds me." *** After the events of her wonderfully packed 21st birthday, Addison was ready to retire back into her home and never again see the light of day. It wasn't a totally bad idea. After all, her family's generations-old riches was enough to tide her over until the day her past finally catches on, and until that day finally arrives, she had no intention to step out of her front door. And to think the last time she did, she ended up in the game of cat and mouse with a cynical hooded spirit that wanted her dead and her soul in a glass bottle for his own little sadistic collection. Silence had followed the whole year after the disastrous party. For nearly 365 days, Addison had no trouble with unwanted evil celestial beings lurking around her house in an attempt to take her soul away with a world-stopping kiss. However, the silence was too often, and the world had become too quiet. Reason being? Apparently, Death's new move was to kidnap her best friend Minnie Hoover in an attempt to bait her down to hell itself. Life became much quieter without one-third of her little clique. And so Addison ventured away from the safety of her home, in search of her best friend. After all, silence creeps the heart just as death does, and the world was now deadly silent. ***** Highest Rank Fantasy: #9 Highest Rank Teen Fiction: #77

A/N: I wrote this story when I was 15 it will definitely not the best thing you have ever read but I feel like I won't be editing it just as a reminder. This story takes place in a small town called Kingston Hill. It's the classic story of a boy meets girl, but it isn't easy. At first everything was platonic but grew. Some things happened and some things went wrong. Loss, heart ache, and plenty of emotional pain. Read on to experience the wonderful relationship of the core four, house of cards, high school royalty, known by plenty of names, you'll learn that nothing is ever perfect, difficulties happen and to this group of friends there is plenty of them. ------------ "I want you to kiss me" She said looking down at me "Is that all you want?" I questioned, my voice low and seductive. I wanted her in every way possible but I knew I couldn't tell her that because now wasn't the time. "I want you to kiss me like it's the first time in forever" She whispered breathlessly and that's exactly what I did. I stood up and dropped my hands to her waist and pulled her into me, I looked into her eyes down to her lips before leaning down to press my lips to hers. First it started slow and sweet before I grew hungry for more making my stomach explode with fireworks as I wrapped my arms around her waist and felt her arms slither around my neck. ------------ (This has switch POVs sometimes third, sometimes first it really matters how it feels with the chapter) Warning- story has some sexual suggestions, and sensitive topics such as miscarriage, depression, stalkers, and drug addiction.
