Ngumiti lang ako at wala ng sinabi. "Let's go, dear. We will go back on the 8th next month, right Doc?" she asked me again before going out of my clinic. "Yes Mrs. Chen, Bryan, do not forget to take your vitamins every night, okay?" baling ko sa anak niyang nakatingin at nakangiti sa akin. "Yes Doc! I will return here just to visit you not the other way around." bibong sagot ng pasyente kong si Bryan. Pagkalabas nila ng clinic ko ay saka naman pumasok ang kaibigan kong nurse din dito sa ospital na pinagtatrabahuan ko. "Yes naman Doc, laging blockbuster itong clinic mo ah. Hindi ka Singaporean pero tinalo mo pa yung mga katulad mong pediatrician dito sa bansa nila ah." buska niya agad sa akin. "May pasiyente pa ba diyan sa labas?" pag-iiba ko ng tanong. "Wala na, magpahinga ka nga, look it's 7pm already." turo pa niya sa wallclock na nasa clinic ko. Di ko namalayan ang oras sa dami ng naging pasyente ko ngayong araw. "Ang benta mo talaga sa mga bagets, kung paano mo sila tratuhin eh parang naging nanay ka na eh!" biro pa niya. Hindi niya napansin ang pagbuntung-hininga ko sa sinabi niya...
