It all started when I attacked Daniel.

Now, it wasn't something I planned on doing or something I necessarily wanted to do; it just happened.

Just like breathing or blinking. You do it involuntarily without thinking.

And that's exactly what happened.

I was in the parking lot just having gotten out of my last class when I saw him walk towards what I assumed was his car.

Now, if you ask me, there isn't anything special about him. I mean, sure, he does look good with his pierced lip and those vibrant green eyes. But so did half the boys in my senior class.

Now I don't know why I did it, so don't ask. To this day I still can't explain it to myself. I just remember getting angrier and angrier as I watched him pass by.

He just looked so...so irritatingly confident and at ease and that just made me mad. So mad that I soon found myself trailing after him.

Before I even realized what I was doing, my hands made contact with his back, and I was pushing - hard.
