Another thing- it is going to be SHORT, shorter than my average chapters in my other fics, but that was the idea for the assignment, a "short story", so keep that in mind.
~In a world where science is everything, Young scientist Elora Fox and her dog Milo are sent on an assignment, to discover and record information to send back to B.L.O.O.M, the main organization in her world, on a mysterious island. What will she discover while she is there? What will change about her life as she discovers more? ~

Test Tube was bored. So incredibly bored. She had done every experiment in the book. At least, every humane experiment. She looked down at the open book. An idea that couldn't be tested as there was no way to test it without potentially facing jail time for torture. But so many other famous scientists who made huge discoveries also did inhumane things for the sake of science. If it meant recognition for your brilliance and neediness outside of the show, Test Tube wouldn't mind stepping over a couple boundaries. But which lines would she be willing to cross? This is a novel about a topic we technically made up randomly and if there are any mistakes, errors, or just places I could fix and add more details please tell me, I want to make this book enjoyable and exciting to read! We want you to expect the unexpected in this book, for example: Most books don't kill off the main character, we want you to think we will kill off one of them. Hello! This is a new story I am going to work really hard on! Banners coming soon! A brief preview- Grian and some others found this mysterious person in the woods and they bring them back but they didn't know something about them... They seemed normal... The Hermits didn't know much about Xisuma, Doc, Ren, and Scar. When you would ask them they would change the subject quickly. Once Grian asked Scar and Scar replied "Let's just say... It wasn't the best time ever". That's all the Hermits would get out of them until someone came along. *The total amount of words: 27697 words! Wow that's a lot for me lol-* Started- (Oct. 20- 2022) Ended- (Dec. 5- 2022) Took about 46 days to finish this book! That's all I will say NO MORE SPOILERS!Complete
Journey For Kuuno
A short story prompt for a writing club I'm in I had a month to write it and a 12.5k word limit! It deserves to be longer so I probably should have done something that works well with the limit, but I had a really fun time writing out a concept start for this larger story I'm working on :) Again, this is a concept story! it has it's flaws, I look forward to rewriting it sometime in the future :) The story will explain things somewhat as you read through, but if you would like, here is a setting synopsis: At the end of the 21st century humanity fell to a incurable blight, the Blood Curse, and civilization as it was known collapsed with it. It was only through the biological properties of vampires, whom have existed as long as humans, that humanity could safely stave off the curse. One thousand years later, humanity and vampires have grown together through this mutual need, human's needing their curses to be sated, Vampires needing human blood for sustenance. A once tumultuous relationship of predator and prey now was one of equal standing and reverence. Not all human's have taken kindly to this new order of things however, and societies do exist that reject vampires and dangerously brave the curse on their own. In recent years these human's have become more brave and more daring, and in an ambush on Wyatt's village, Karva the town vampire has been injured and cannot satiate the curse for a time, right when a young child, Kuuno, is in dire need of it. Wyatt, a fledgling vampire yet to conquer their thirst for blood, Yeshen a doctor's apprentice, and Kuuno, the young child, venture out into the woods set for the nearest village and it's vampire to save the young boy. In this thick forest and uncertain times, what will they discover, and will they make it to their destination safely?Complete

She never thought there was anyway out of the thing and grew to love it. But only while comatose. Whenever she was awake, the world was an uncontrollable agony. What happens when she gets yanked out and has to deal with the horrific reality of what's happened to her? EX-220169 (Flower White): She was on the good end of the experimentation. Only being called once a month to get injected with some odd stuff. Other than those monthly visits, and some superhuman capabilities, she was a normal girl. She lived with her loving parents and had friends, she went to school and played games with her friends. She had no idea what the bad end of the experiments were like. Direct crosspost from Ao3 This is an INTENSELY self indulgent prequel for the events of Monster Hunter World following the life of the Commander. Fic takes place from the First Fleet setting out and covers things like the Celestial Pursuit ending up on a mountain, the Scoutflies, the Seeker peacing out, the Research Base crash landing, and some other stuff I'm forgetting, and ends right before the opening sequence of the game. So if you like Monster Hunter, and for some reason you're not here for the monster part (why are we here? Where is the appeal beyond big monster?), we're here together. Ngl, I wrote this because he is 100% my OC's type, and I had brain worms until I wrote it all out. I'm freeeee! The PoV is from the Commander instead of said OC so we get to see more fun things than "oh god he's hot. Oh god I'm gay. Oh god." Instead we get stuff like "Woah cool bugs. Ha ha cute monsters!
