One sleepless night Katniss spots something extraordinary outside of her house. She takes off as fast as she can, and searches for the same spot as where she saw the shooting stars fall from the sky. But she finds nothing there. Was it just her, or did they do that on purpose? 

After a weird expierce, Katniss Everdeen doesn't know who to trust anymore. But a couple of weeks after what she saw, she heard some strange noices in her basement. Will she be brave, and check it out? Or will she ignore it, and continue to live her life?

Her parents had gotten all laboratories dealing with cryogenics to be shut down without much Ado. Yet here she was searching for an illegal lab or doctor who would help her with surrogacy. The pregnancy and the surrogacy would have to be in utmost secrecy. Almost everybody knew her, she was famous for having accurately foretelling the falling of a small meteor that would burn a hole through Earth's moon. Only when the actual event occurred did people pay attention to her warnings. But now her predicament was different. She knew what would happen, but she wanted to alter it. She hoped against all odds knowing that it was futile. Seeing was tricky. If you saw something you know it would happen, but then what was the point of seeing if you couldn't do anything about it. So here she was, trying to change the outcome of what she saw. One day she sat down on a swing and rather moodily kept tossing the salted nuts from her bowl to various targets in sight. One such Target was her bookshelf. She had just tossed a nut at a rather large book when she noticed that it held an invitation. She pulled it out and turned out to be her cousin's wedding card. It had been a while since the event and they were still childless. A sudden thought Wave struck her as she pinged her cousin.

Their eyes met from across the room. Him, a successful baker with a hard life at home. Her, a music teacher who sang on the weekends. Both had just turned 25. They both felt like they were drowning in the life they were living. Both felt something was missing. He buys her a drink. She gives him a smile. They start talking and as the night goes on, they feel the light that they had been missing. They go to a motel and get a room under false names, sharing a night that finally makes each feel whole. But there is a fatal flaw to this fairy tale. For both were already married. These two were star crossed lovers who were never meant to be. But it's funny how fate changes that. (This book is going to be really racy. It's very mature and took me a long time to work up the courage to write it. Read at your own risk.)

But when she finds herself pregnant, Katniss can only wonder how she can get both Peeta and their child out alive, Even if it means her own life.
