Cassandra Mills hates her family. She's only ever wanted to love them and be close to them but that doesn't really happen when you're not really wanted. She tries her best to be close with them but it gets harder and harder every day to even be in the same room with them. It's like she is the reject of the family that no one talks about at family events.

What will happen when she crosses paths with the Intelligence Unit?

[season 7 & 8 of Chicago P.D.] The newly married Spencer Grey's life was seemingly perfect. Until it wasn't. While a life threatening bacteria plagues its way through Chicago, Spencer finds out something that will change her life forever and alter her marriage with Jay. It will compromise her job which she works so hard for everyday.Nearly losing the love of her life almost pushed Spencer over the edge. Can she come back from it? CPD Intelligence. The most elite unit in CPD. The unit everyone wants to be in. Intelligence is the place people work their whole lives to get to. Everybody wants the job, but nobody knows the truth. They don't know how the job manages to weave its way into your heart and tear down your life from the inside out until it's too late to stop it. Everybody wants the job, but without the pain. When Spencer agreed to transfer to intelligence, she wasn't signing up for all the blood, sweat, tears and pain it came with. But hey, it's a package deal. Nobody is every truly a clean cop, are they? If you work under Hank Voight, you're somewhat dirty. Working in intelligence means that sometimes you have to get your hands a little bloody. A little dirty. It means that sometimes you have to cross lines. Sometimes you have to put aside your morals. Sometimes you have to flip that switch that controls your humanity and turn it off. If you don't do that, the job will eat you up and ruin you. But maybe that's why that select group of people live for that job so much. They're the ones that learned to love the pain. They're the warriors who make chicago what it is. They're the ones who built that city. They were born for it. [DISCLAIMER] I did not invent one Chicago, nor do I claim to have. I do not own the original One Chicago cast who are played by their respectable actors. I only own the rights to my independent storylines and my own characters I have created. Fight Her

36 parts Complete Mature

Warning: This is a prequel to what is currently a nine part book series. I suggest you read those or at least the part in "Protect Her" titled "OC Info" for some of this to make sense. What exactly did Ana Voight go through in the aftermath of Andrew Darden's death that nearly broke her? What "massive mistake" was Hank referring to in "Say Her Real Name?" On top of that, there's a few people that don't exactly like how 51 operates. But if they want Wallace Boden's Firehouse, they're gonna have to get through his Captain first. And to do that, they just might have to Fight Her. (Chicago Fire Season 1 and the first half of Season 2)
