This is the story of a Vampire King and a Lost Fairy.
𝐌𝐚𝐞𝐯𝐞 𝐇𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐰𝐚𝐲 was born into a line of woodland nymphs and fairies. She is very timid and shy and naïve. Up until she was of age was she allowed to go to the Everglade kingdom. She's only ever known her fairy life and nothing outside of that. She loves exploring new things, it's in her genes, and discovering things she's never heard or known.
She's heard of the vampires and thought they were all big, mean, and horrifying. She didn't dare bring up that topic with her little fairy tribe. She couldn't deny that there was obviously something pulling her towards the kingdom. She wanted to explore that area but that wasn't the only reason why she was so enamored.
........
𝐁𝐞𝐚𝐮 𝐃𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐬 was the King of all the vampires. He gets easily irritated by little mistakes. He took over The Everglade Kingdom after his father had been slain by those evil, good-for-nothing, humans. He had great distaste for those vile beings, he wanted them gone. All of them. He didn't care if some of them were innocent and hadn't done anything wrong, they were just as bad as those murderers in his mind.
Other than his disgust for humans, he really didn't mind the other beings. He held respect for nymphs and fairies, how they can create things out of nothing and stay content with the little things. He enjoyed watching trolls put on a show with goblins. He disliked the werewolves but didn't dare say a word to them. He had recently discovered this one fairy in particular...he noticed she wasn't like the rest of them. She wasn't social and definitely did not have many friends surrounding her.
It seemed she gets scared of a bunch of things. He once saw her sneaking into the kingdom and screamed when one of the maids said a simple "hello" to her. She was timid, he noted.
It's very simple to say that he definitely wanted her.
