What is Pedicure ?

The word pedicure is derived from the Latin words pedis, which means "of the foot", and cura, which means "care".

A pedicure is a cosmetic treatment of the feet and toenails, equivalent to a manicure, which is done at spas and salons by a beautician. Pedicures are done for cosmetic, therapeutic purposes. Pedicures are not only for the toenails; but also for dead skin cells that are rubbed off the bottom of the feet using a rough stone (pumice stone).
