A young girl went missing in the late 1960's and the Narrator a young teenage boy and his family moved from Texas to West Virginia. And moved into a house where the younger and her family had lived until they moved away after she went missing and was never found for two years, so the case was closed and the narrator finds some random letters outside in a forest behind the house and he keeps collecting them, and eventually finds voice tape the girl recorded calling for help.

I woke up in a dark room, I didn't know where I was. In fact I couldn't remember anything from last night, it was all a blur. My sight was a bit blurry but I noticed a picture. The picture looked a bit off I had no idea what it was but it gave the creeps. I looked around a bit more there wasn't much. I thought to myself "where am i?"
