Kylie is a high school tennis player whose life has been anything but steady. After her parents' messy divorce, her father is in and out of her life. With his new family he doesn't take the time for his oldest child. while her mother spiraled into addiction. Kylie pours her frustrations into her tennis game. Malia, on the other hand, seems to have it all. She was a straight A's kid with wealthy, supportive parents-her father a retired tennis star and her mother is the athletic trainer and coach for UCLA tennis team. her life looks perfect on the surface. But Malia feels trapped by her feeling with coming out and not knowing what she'll be doing after high school. Though these two don't know each other and have different situations, will they connect and be more than a friend?
